Our Studio space is the ideal party destination located in the heart of downtown Halifax. The perfect mix of fun and elegant with 2000 sq ft. in a historical building with exposed brick, 14ft ceilings and hardwood floors.
Depending on the festivity, we have a variety of packages. We can accommodate a party of 6-50 people. Our hostesses are trained in the art of Pole Dancing, and come from various fitness backgrounds with the illustrious ability to entertain and empower people of all ages.
We offer party’s at the studio but we can also host party’s off location.
Pole dancing not really your thing? That's no reason to miss out on a fantastic party at Studio In Essence! Be a diva for a day with a burlesque party, or spice it up with a chair dance lesson. Dancing with the Stars? Have a salsa party! Add big skirts and big fun with a can-can class, or get a bit funky with street dance. Whatever your thing, there's an In Essence party to suit.

Essence isn’t an option we can set up a mobile pole at your home or venue. Chosse from a

1-Hour Dance Class
1 hour long full pole dancing class. You get a feel of our famous pole dancing classes while
having fun with your friends and co-workers. $175-275+tax
1.5 Hour Dance Party
This is the real deal! This package includes, 30min warm up, 1 full hour dance class, AND time to play on the poles taking pictures for souvenir! On top of it, we supply strawberries and cream, dark chocolate and a non-alcoholic punch. $250-350+Tax
2-Hour Dance Party
This is the real deal! Start off this party by choosing your very own Exotic Dancer name. Then get moving with a little bootilicous class to learn some moves you can take home with you, shake on the dance floor later at the bar. A full hour pole dance class to follow with some time to take those pictures you’ll never forget. On top of it, we supply strawberries and cream, dark chocolate and a non-alcoholic punch. $350-500+tax
Kids Only Birthday Parties
Studio In Essence can provide a fun place for kids between the ages of 7 and 17. With the space of 2000 sq., you can have lots of fun with hula hoop, stability balls or anything you’d like to play around. $200 w hour party
Team Building Events
A typical Team Building Day features a two-hour pole dancing session and is tailored exclusively to meet your needs. We'll teach you some great confidence-boosting pole dancing techniques, starting with some basic spins, swings and static holds. We then choreograph these basic tricks into a fantastic routine, complete with transitional moves and some floor work. By now everyone will be ready to show off their moves and after a little practice, it’s time to strut their stuff. This session is designed to move individuals out of their comfort zone in a safe, supportive environment and bring the group together by means of a rip-roaring good time. Whether it’s corporate or school friends, we can provide you with a place to build your team spirits through fun and creative exercises like Pole Dancing, Hula Hooping, Belly Dancing, you name it! We can customize the events to fit your needs.
